Dash, our yorkie, is almost 8 years old and weighs a whopping 8lbs. He was originally going to be named Tonka after an Animal Planet show that featured a cute little dog with that name, but when we actually met this little guy, and he could run so fast, Dash (like the little boy from the Incredibles) seemed like the perfect choice. And it was. He's a fast one, but still has a hard time keeping up with his "sister". :) Oh yeah, and he's a total mama's boy.
Snooker, our beautiful calico, is 3 years old and is named after a billiards game (though we almost named her Bandit because of the "mask" on her eyes). She melted our hearts at the McKamey Animal Shelter because she talked and talked and talked, and reached for Jason through the bars (kind of like in this video). She still talks a lot, which luckily (for her) we love. Someday I promise I will catch her on video going "crazy" as she runs around the house at full speed and launches herself on to the doorframes. It's priceless. Oh yeah, and she is ALL about her daddy.
