Sarah Eats Salmon

Jason and I have been talking about eating more fish since it's so good for you. Now, I'm not a big seafood person, so this is a stretch for me. Anyway, I saw a recipe for the "best way to cook salmon" on Pinterest that looked easy enough. So last night I made it and it turned out perfect!!
Salmon, asparagus, sweet potatoes, and rolls.

It was a seriously good meal. 

Add salmon to the rotation!


  1. Did it stink up your house? I've never cooked it before or even tasted it, but I've been wanting to give it a try.

  2. Rachel - it really wasn't bad! I was expecting the smell of fish sticks or salmon patties that is gross, but it was very mild (and didn't taste too fishy either). We used salt, pepper, and lemon pepper to season it - it would have been even better with fresh squeezed lemon on top, but it was very yummy!!

  3. we had salmon yesterday too!! i brush mine with a mixture of lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt and pepper. then i top it with fresh rosemary and/or chives. broil 11-12 minutes and voila! it's also good with maple syrup based glazes but i've never cooked it that way... just eaten it. :)
