Until then, here's another Baby Lawhorn story:
On Tuesday night, I went to bed earlier than Jason (let's face it - that's most nights), and when he came to bed, I had been dozing for about 20-30 minutes. He told me goodnight and then put his hand on my tummy to tell the baby goodnight, but of course when he put his hand there, Baby wasn't moving or anything. I hadn't felt movement for quite a while, since I had been sleeping.
"The baby's asleep, babe" I said, and he proceeded to jostle my belly a little, joking and saying "I'm going to wake the baby up!" Well, sure enough; 10 seconds later - kick... kick kick kick... kick. THANKS A LOT! Haha!! Neither one of us really thought that a tummy jiggle would really wake the baby up!! We laughed and laughed, but then it took me 30 minutes to fall back asleep with that little stinker movin' inside my tummy! :)
Can't wait to share our news with you!
ha! let's hope he doesn't keep doing that once the baby is out! :) so happy that you have such a fun night planned!
ReplyDeleteSo remember in Shrek 3 the princesses buy Fiona a little nanny/gnome? All he says really is 'Don't wake the baby' and your title of this entry totally reminds me of that and everytime I read it I hear the gnome nanny say that. hahaha :)
