Last Thursday night, we had a loooooong night. Jack woke up after a few hours of sleep and coughed and fussed and did NOT want to be back in his own crib. Jason and I tag-teamed between me sleeping in the glider with him and Jason holding him propped up in our bed.
Like I said, it was a looooooong night.
So Friday I took him to the doctor, and turns out he had a really bad ear infection in his left ear! Poor baby!! (He had double ear infections at his 9 month well-visit, but hadn't shown any symptoms. We got lucky that time because it was like he never felt the pain... this time, notsomuch.) Luckily there are meds for the ear infection, but unfortunately the yucky nose and cough have continued to linger.
He's been sleeping better (using Daddy's pillow, which he loves) and we've all been feeling less like zombies! We've done a lot of staying-in-our-pjs around here the past few days; Jack decided he wanted to put his new shoes on over his footie-pajamas.
We still have 5 1/2 days left of ear infection medicine, and we are praying that his cough gets better. It is SO SAD to hear him coughing like crazy at night. :(
We all want to be well and well-rested before Baby Brother gets here in 5 WEEKS!!! :)
